Rules and regulations governing the purchase and claiming of lottery prizes.
1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the Thailand Lottery Office website and participation in the Government Lottery. By purchasing a ticket or using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms, which are in accordance with the Government Lottery Office Act B.E. 2517.
2. Eligibility
2.1 Age Restriction
Participants must be at least 20 years of age to purchase lottery tickets or claim prizes. Verification of age is mandatory upon prize collection.
2.2 Employee Restriction
Employees of the Government Lottery Office and their immediate family members involved in the draw process are prohibited from participating to ensure fairness.
3. Prize Claims
3.1 Claim Period
Prizes must be claimed within two (2) years from the date of the draw. Unclaimed prizes after this period will be forfeited and remitted to the state treasury as public revenue.
3.2 Verification
The original winning ticket must be presented in good condition. Tickets that are torn, altered, illegible, or counterfeit will be rejected. The GLO reserves the right to verify the authenticity of every ticket.
3.3 Taxes
Winnings are subject to taxation. A 0.5% stamp duty is deducted for Government Lottery tickets, and a 1% withholding tax is deducted for Charity Lottery tickets.
4. Legal Compliance
All operations are conducted under strict legal frameworks. Any attempt to defraud, forge tickets, or manipulate the system will result in criminal prosecution under Thai law.
5. Amendments
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time without prior notice. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
